Travel Photos – Venice in the Rain

The first time we came to Venice 7 years ago, at about the same period, we had stunning weather. This time, we arrived in the rain and it seems it may last quite a few days. But the moment we started walking through the tiny streets from Ospedale vaporetto to our home exchange in Castello just behind Piazza San Marco, I felt the magic of Venice descend upon me. Here are my first impressions.

  1. I just love getting absorbed in your so interesting Sites, thank you. Have been a fan for about a year now. Went to some of the destinations you speak about when in France last year. It’s a long way from Adelaide( originally Sydney/ Newtown) Australia, as you know, to Europe, so now indulge in memories with your great pics. Also doing French, or trying too, to keep the brain in some order with the aging process!!!!

    1. Hi Marie, I’m glad you’re enjoying the blog. I have, of course, see you on FaceBook. Thank you for introducing yourself. We should be in Adelaide early next year for our first visit there. Hope to catch up!
