Beautiful architecture, particularly that first one.

I’ve always loved that building and now that it’s been renovated, you can walk right round it.

Shame you can’t keep the Paris apartment as a short-term rental property. Then you could still use it from time to time – and rent it out for 150+ Euros a night the rest of the time. I recently rented an apartment in the Marais (via homelidays.co.uk) for several nights – a wonderful experience! It was the person’s home, and she rents it out when she’s going away. I’m sure you’d have no problem finding renters – especially us Aussies who love a ‘home away from home’ , especially in France.
Good luck with the move anyway!

Unfortunately, the apartment in Paris belongs to the Banque de France and is part of Jean Michel’s job.

Fabulous area, we have very fond memories of the streets just north of the palais block.
