Thank you, William. I do feel priviledged to live in such as place.

What an interesting tour. I hope to be able to take it if I get to Blois again. It has been 20 years since I was there last. Too long! I will forward this post to my friends who live in Tours as I am sure that there were many details that they don’t know and would love to use them with their frequent overseas visitors.

Thank you, Rosemary! I hope you will come smoetime and that we’ll be able to meet up. I hope your friends in Tours enjoy the tour!
What a fantastic insider’s tour of Blois, thank you so much for sharing it with us at #AllAboutFrance. I love getting to know the real, non-touristy, side of a location full of great tips like the one about ice-cream! (Vital for my well being!!)

Terrific post! Makes me want to nip up to Blois immediately and do the walk! Quite a few things in your post I’ve never properly seen.
I’m so glad you like it! Others to come when I find more time …
I adore finding details like this. You’ve done a great job of pointing out the wonderful traces of the past and the stories that make them special.
Thank you. I hope the next ones will be as interesting. The material has been gleaned slowly from our walks and my posts on Loire Daily Photo.
