Congratulations on the 5 years and your very full year of travelling and activities. I have only recently found your blog and look forward to dipping in and out of past posts when I have the time.
Cheers, Catherine

Thank you Catherine. So great to hear from new readers!
Bravo. I always enjoy reading about your adventures and wish you the time and the energy to continue writing many more. Sometimes real life gets in the way of blogging…

Thank you, Gaynorb. Real life certainly gets in the way of blogging, as you know!
I too have little time for reading blogs these days but I do still love to read your travel posts, the ones where you write each day. Congrats on 5 years!

Thanks Andrea. Yes, they are the ones I like writing best as well.
Happy anniversary. Your photos are beautiful, but that first one is absolutely jaw-dropping.

Thank you Taste of France. I was with another blogger in the Palais Royal that day, where I used to live – Wendy Smith from http://wsphotography.wendysmith.eu/. She saw the rainbow and we had a wonderful time taking photos of it.
Keep up the good work. I’m very happy to have discovered your blog and have the pleasure of seeing you and Jean Michel from time to time.
The mushroom situation is picking up. I went on the Loches forest foray yesterday and someone found 3 big bolets baies. Lots of little stuff in perfect condition too, so it’s just damp enough and just cold enough to trigger them.

Yes, so am I! As I’ve said before, it is a pity we are at opposite ends of Touraine.
We might just try for mushrooms tomorrow. Maybe today’s sun has helped.

Well Done ! Only a Lesley-Come-Lately to your blogs but I’ve found them all rewarding to see, read, learn and enjoy.

I’m so pleased to have you among my reader, Lesley-Come-Lately. I really enjoy your comments.
I am a secret ‘lurker’ and love reading your blogs, following your journeys and enjoying your photos. My husband has cousins who live near Montlouis-sur-Loire. They produced a Vouvray wine, but no longer. Husband is half French and I’m an Aussie. Keep up the good work.

Congratulations on the blogiversary! 5 years is a good long time.
Agree with other comments that your photos are great but I prefer the Chenonceau reflection above all others. Awesome!
Chenonceau is eminently photogenic!
