Can’t wait for the next post! Sounds like a fantastic tasting and I’m sooooo envious of femme francophile 🙂
This is *exactly* what I love to do in Australia — ie build itinerary around a certain wine region, then explore both the local wines and the local scenery (and often more than a few excellent restaurant choices in those regions!).
Cheers or should that be *clink*

It’s wonderful fun, isn’t it? Have you been to Orange yet? If you do, you have to look up Stephen and Rhonda Doyle at Bloodwood Wines in Orange. http://www.bloodwood.biz. It was the most extraordinary coincidence. We were doing our wine tour with friends from Townsville. When chatting with Rhonda who was very welcoming (none of us recognised each other after 40 years!) we discovered we’d been at the same school at the same time. They have great wine as well.

Great post! While Stephane and I were sipping some wine at a restaurant the other night, we said that we should do some wine tasting classes while we’re in Paris. I look forward to reading your future posts about the Loire Wines. We tasted some very interesting ones that are only sold locally while we were there.
And as Carolyn said, Femme Francophile is a lucky woman to share in your adventures!
I agree with both MK and Carolyn. I am very fortunate to have been able to spend a wonderful week with Fraussie in the Loire Valley. Poor Fraussie though – she had to work during the day whilst I was gallivanting around the châteaux and gardens.

I consoled myself with the fact that the view out the window is very beautiful!
Can’t wait to hear more about what you two ladies have been up to. 🙂
We even put up a barbecue together!
