Fine article and fun to read ! Corbières is a premium appellation of Languedoc, in turn one of the largest wine producing region in France with no less than 56 varietals.
Stay tuned for other fine wines from other famous areas like Bordeaux, Burgundy… and a surprise for the end of this year with our first Cru Etoilé !
Also I would just like to correct that Winestar in France has no link with Winestar in Melbourne… it is owned by the company Fabulous Brands in France.

Thank you. I’ll add the information that Winestar in France has no link with Winestar in Melbourne. I’m very surprised though that you don’t have a trademark issue.
Yes, I obviously jumped to a hasty conclusion! I remember seeing sparkling wine in cans in Australia many years ago. I’m not convinced that WineStar is “fine wine” though. The one we drank certainly wasn’t!

I’m just catching up with last week’s posts. I did check out Winestar Australia’s website and there was no mention of cans and I’ve never seen them here. It seems a lot more of a sacrilege than the change from corks to screw-tops. Here is a link to an article about the introduction of cans to France earlier this year.

Oh my – wine in a can? I think not. A box is one thing but never a can. 😉 Charming post!
Thank you. It was not French chic, I can tell you!
