This photo was taken at the bottom of our front steps at Closerie Falaiseau. The shadow is cast by our Pierre Ronsard climbing rose which is just starting sprout new leaves after being severely pruned in winter.

That tree house is fantastic! I want one!! What a great Dad to build that.
I know! I so agree with you. My kids’ grandfather built them a lovely cubby house in the garden but they spent most of their time climbing through the windows and doors into the tree above it!
