When I had my baby grand piano moved up two flights, they took off the legs! maybe it was easier than an upright piano by the looks of things!

A wooden bell doesn’t resonate like would one made of bronze and therefore is nearly inaudible. Hence, “déménager à la cloche de bois” means that nobody will be aware of it 😉
