Enjoying these photos..they have me reminiscing of my 3 days in Annecy in 1999. It really was beautiful…absolutely freezing cold one day..we were wondering why we were the only ones walking around(just about) guess it had something to do with the fact your body parts could freeze off! The next day we woke up to a snow covered Annecy..wow….
We also took a luncheon cruise on the Libellule..food and views to die for..Thanks for jogging my memory to such a wonderful holiday…Have a wonderful parisien weekend 🙂 Jill

I gave up staying in the “oldest hotel” in this or that city long ago. I should have paid more attention to the “vecchia” bit. However, the room was fairly spacious and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was awful but that is often the case in Italy. I’d chosen the hotel because it was so well located – very close to the Duomo – and the fact that we could park in an underground parking lot at a reasonable price.
