The fruit and veg stalls at Preuilly had everything covered with sacks, blankets and fleeces — you had to lift them up and peek underneath to see what they had.

I too love the Markets at St Eustache! Can’t say I have been there in the winter. Winter in Europe is not for someone from the Aussie tropics but I do think I would like to try just a few weeks to get the lovely snow etc. One day maybe.

Yes, it takes a little getting used to the cold! Spring, summer and autumn are definitely better times for travelling to Europe but those who come in winter still seem to appreciate it.

Oh, that’s nice! I’m glad you like my photos. It was certainly cold. But you must surely get snow in Grenoble – or maybe I’ve mixed up where you’re living.
