I had some very odd capuccino’s in France recently, quite often it was like a regular coffee which had whipped cream on the top. The capuccinos got better the further south we went, the one in Arles was quite good and the one St Remy de Provence was the best.

I’m not surprised! It’s interesting that they improved as you went further south.

Dear Rosemary
The best coffee we had in France last year was at our hotel in Antibes (Hotel Royal Antibes). Excellent – 11/10! Also the meals. It turned out the barista was Italian and had worked in a Sydney coffee place for a couple of years as well. He loved Oz and Australians. Absolutely the best coffee! Best wishes, Pamela
