    What luck to find you hadn’t lost your binoculars after all!

    BTW, I think you need to increase the actual size of your photos. I’ve been wondering why your photos are always rather soft, and I think it must be because the size you are setting for them in the blog is bigger than their actual size. I only realised today when I clicked on the organ pipes to get a better look and ended up with a smaller, sharper picture, not a bigger picture. Also there is the most alarming distortion due to the wide angle — take a look at the house on the left of the marketplatz — it is tipping forward horrendously.

    Lovely post! I love those small little German villages where you never know what beautiful buildings you might see just right around the corner!

    Glad you found your binoculars!

    About the parking, I have also had a parking ticket in Germany before. Did you look to see if you needed the Parkscheibe? It is a little blue and white “disc” that you put on the dash in the front of the car, showing what time you arrived.
